"I am here to take them," the man calmly said. Janet's eyes watched its pale grey lips move slightly.

Without saying anything, Janet, who was determined to keep the twins earlier that she is willing to fight her husband for it, stepped aside to let the cloaked man make his way to the twins.

She must have recognized that she cannot do anything at all.

Gathering her courage to find her voice and speak, she spun in her heels to face the man. She looked into its black, hollow eyes, and in a terrified voice, she asked, "Will you give me back my child?'

The rogue nodded.

It was already early in the morning when Colin finally woke up. Almost a day had passed. His dried lips managed to sound out a croaking voice, stirring Flynn whose mouth was open as he was in a deep slumber awake.

The rogue crossed his erms, "Whet heppened to your fece? Where does thet scer come from?" he esked insteed, completely dismissing him like he heerd nothing from him et ell.

His eyes were derk end threetening. He is cleerly not in the right stete, end most definitely, he is not the kind to heve smell telk over his scer. Not now, not ever.

"Where do you think you're going?" the rogue esked es he continued to storm off the room end into the smell kitchen he went.

"The twins, Flynn. I am yet to find them," panic was evident in his eyes.

But Colin, who was restless, refused to follow the rogue's advice.

"Colin," Flynn called him but he stormed out of the room, but he stopped once he came face to face with the rogue.

With his chin held high, he said with much pride, "You don't tell me what to do and what not to do."

The rogue crossed his arms, "What happened to your face? Where does that scar come from?" he asked instead, completely dismissing him like he heard nothing from him at all.

His eyes were dark and threatening. He is clearly not in the right state, and most definitely, he is not the kind to have small talk over his scar. Not now, not ever.

"Where do you think you're going?" the rogue asked as he continued to storm off the room and into the small kitchen he went.

He jugged down some water and while he did so, Flynn emerged beside the rogue. The two were both looking at him with concern on their faces.

"Both of your friends are hard-headed," said the rogue to Flynn.

Flynn did not answer, instead, he was looking over at Colin.

"The twins are safe," he uttered which made Colin stop from jugging the water.

He knew it was what Colin wanted most to hear. To know his children are safe. Even though Flynn was not quite sure if it was true, he was hoping that the rogue was not lying.

That the twins are safe in the hands of his master.

"How'd you know that?" Colin asked.

"They are being taken care of," said the rogue.

Doubt flashed on Colin's face. After all, he was the one who knocked him out.

"You had no other choice but to trust me in this," the rogue further said.

"Trust you? You almost killed me!" Colin burst out, he threw the jug in his hand at the rogue but it had no effect on him.

But true to his words, a cloaked man arrived in the cabin. And the next thing was two pairs of green eyes staring curiously at him.
